Do you ever just miss your pet?

We all have a job (probably). Unless you work from home all week, you spend most of your time not at home for the sake of making an income. It can be so heartbreaking to leave our pets behind. We kiss them at the door, give them a little petting, but it's off without them for the next 8-10 hours. There's a certain kind of sadness that comes when you leave your pet behind when you go to work. It's not the worst thing in life, but it still has a part of you with them throughout the day. You lock the door, start driving or another way of commuting, you talk to people, check your phone, and sit through meetings, but meanwhile your heart is back home with the love of your life. You could be sitting there thinking about them all day.

They become such a constant part of our lives that when we're not with them it can really stick with us. It changes everything about the day, your whole mindset is different. For those who do work at home, it can be the best feeling to have your pet there while you work. Even if they're distracting, it's the good kind of distractions, the kind that you want. They sit behind you while you type, they follow you into the kitchen to have coffee, and you can take small breaks and take them on a walk if you have a dog. For me, I go to work everyday and I miss my cat immensely. When I do have work from home days, it's the most amazing feeling to have him around me all day, and he appreciates it as well! I sit on a pillow on the ground with my laptop on the TV table, while he sits behind me. Sometimes he sleeps or he just sits there and I love the fact that I can turn around at any moment and pet him. When I'm gone all day, he cries more and gets upset when I leave, and he even becomes misbehaving.
